Yes, people need to be careful drinking diet sodas. There are healthier drink options out there.
I’ve heard stories of how bad aspartame is for years, but it’s mainly been colloquial evidence and studies that say it ‘could be harmful’. I try to avoid it in favor of Stevia when I can.
It is so disappointing to hear about these side effects in diet drinks.
I love Stevia. I like to think it’s better than the artificial alternatives since the stevia plant has been used for centuries. All in moderation and they should be fine. Just don’t make a habit of drinking Diet Coke everyday.
